Elisheva Scheuer hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she first caught the acting bug playing Annie in Annie at Stormonth Elementary School as a 10 year old.
In high school, Elisheva trained with First Stage's nationally acclaimed Young Company and the Milwaukee Rep's Professional Training Institute through which she fell in love with Shakespearean rhetoric, Viewpoints, and Scottish accents. Elisheva's training led her to the University of Minnesota / Guthrie Theater Actor Training Program, where she further honed her craft working on Greek, English, and Shakespearean classics. In her junior year, she traveled across the pond to London to study with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Highlights include playing Macduff in Macbeth on the Swan Stage in Stratford-Upon-Avon, spending long afternoons in Hyde Park, and running alongside London's many canals. She graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Acting and Business Minor.
Elisheva holds a deep affinity for verbatim theatre, and recently debuted her one-woman, interview based play, Forever Young. Aside from acting, Elisheva is a playwright, pianist, guitarist, backpacker, teacher, and self-proclaimed popcorn connoisseur. She finds great joy in composing and arranging music, hiking over mountain passes, conversing with strangers, and embracing her inner clown.
